Choosing tractor tyres

Start with the tyre size and rim specification approved for your tractor. On four-wheel-drive machines, front and rear rolling circumference must suit the manufacturer's requirements.
Radial and cross-ply tyres behave differently under load. Choose the construction for the machine and its field and road duties, rather than size alone.
Check load and speed ratings against the heaviest working load, including mounted implements. Set inflation pressure using the tyre manufacturer's guidance for that load and speed.
IF and VF tyres have different load and inflation capabilities. Confirm the specific tyre, rim compatibility and operating limits with your dealer.
